Stuck inside

With the temperature hovering around the 40⁰ mark there is little incentive to step outside and most of the day is spent in my office. Bare footed, a lot of time is spent at the desk.

The shutters are rarely opened, perhaps for a couple of hours before the sun gets too high or just for a glimpse outside to remind myself that the world out there does still exist. Other than that the room is dark.

A lot of time is spent reading.

The confinement also provides an opportunity to really see the space which I inhabit so frequently.
