Stuck inside
With the temperature hovering around the 40⁰ mark there is
little incentive to step outside and most of the day is spent in my office.
Bare footed, a lot of time is spent at the desk.
The shutters are rarely opened, perhaps for a couple of hours before the sun gets too high or just for a glimpse outside to remind myself that the world out there does still exist. Other than that the room is dark.
A lot of time is spent reading.
The confinement also provides an opportunity to really see
the space which I inhabit so frequently.

Looking Up
The hot weather led to an early Sunday morning walk in town. With no people on the streets my attention turned up towards the sky.

Bowden Railway Station
What with Christmas, New Year and 40 degree days there have not been many opportunities to shoot recently. Today I went for a morning stroll before it got too hot and found myself at the new Bowden Railway Station. My eye was drawn to the shapes and shadows.
